The diary game ( 28 /12 /2024 ): Come to my house this holiday season
Greetings dear friends, it's another day of the week and it's my pleasure to join the ongoing contest hosted here in this community by the management. It was an interesting contest that talks about the diary game. As we all know the diary game is an important post in the Steemit platform which allows people to share their real life experiences and daily activities through writing.
This diary today is not just about a day activities, it encompasses the activities within the holiday period of Christmas and New year. I will be attempting this contest based on the guide or tips given by the contest organisers. So without further ado, let's try attempting the questions below.
1.- How do you celebrate these December holidays? Who attends or where do you go during these holidays? |
---|
In celebration of this December holiday, I wasn't very stable in one place due to a commitment I had and needed to ensure I finished and meet up my target. So I will be sharing with you all my ups and downs movement at the course of this December holiday.
During this December holiday I travelled from the East to the North where I base because I needed to attain my visa biometric appointment which was scheduled to hold on the 20th of December. I attended the biometric in Abuja the state capital of Nigeria.
Aside from that my younger sister came around for the first time to spend the Christmas holiday with me so it was so fun and interesting because I'm always fun of her and I was also happy that I have gotten someone to cook for me since I have been the one cooking myself all these while.
Since it was her first time of coming to the North, I took it as an opportunity to show her a few places in Abuja and Nasarawa State where I base. It is a beautiful moments for me because I had fun all through.
Everyday since she came around, I always take her to different recreational centre and eatery or joint just so she can get familiar with every place here in Akwanga Nasarawa State Nigeria. I had a good time with her as well because it has been a while.
2.- Share what you eat, how you decorate, if you wear any special clothes, what you do as celebrations |
---|
During the Christmas celebration myself and my little sister ate rice in one of the eatery after eating food at home. We ate a lot of things and that include meat and cheese. Some of the food we ate are the ones we cooked at home whereas we also ate some from neighbours and the eatery.
Apart from that we also had fun going to places where there were events like dancing and celebration for the Christmas since we didn't want to completely remain bored at home. It was a day where we didn't have the time to stay in a single place at all because of the joy of the celebration.
There are many things we did during the Christmas celebration though we didn't get a new clothes because of how the economic of the country is at the moment. So in making ourselves happy we ate and we joined others to watch the traditional dance of the people which takes place every year.
Aside that, we also had a few friends who came around to celebrate with us and we sat took drinks and also had a long discussion with regards to the happening in the country and its economics. So that is all about the celebration I had.
Finally, I wish to invite my friends @dove11, @solaymann, and @josepha to also join this contest today and share their own opinions about this wonderful topic.
