RE: Whitecross Street Market - Old Street

in London5 years ago

London seems nice.

We don't really have the small tents kind of street food streets here in Estonia. These kind of food tents only pop up during fairs, festivals, other kind of bigger public events. We do, however, have a really short street in the Telliskivi area in Tallinn that calls itself a street food street when in reality it's just a couple of navy containers stacked on eachother and standing next to eachother acting as restaraunts. I might remember wrong but there's about 5-6, maybe 7 restos on that "street".

I don't complain, though. I think it's a nice addition to the Telliskivi creational district. Only the food's a bit overpriced.

What I like about London is that it is so diverse and, for a complex city, lots of it works very well. Street food and pop-up stalls are appearing all over London (and in other provincial cities around the country), but I agree, they can be over-priced :)

Diversity, if morally accepted, enrichens the culture. :)

Do you have a certain favorite go-to street food you order from time to time?

!ENGAGE 35

I like to see what takes my fancy as I walk round. I love Caribbean food, though, so I will usually choose a version of chicken and rice and steemed vegetables over anything else, if it is available.
Thank you for the engage tokens, I am waiting for my buy order to be fulfilled :)
