Herd of Hope 2020
Hi Steemians,
Today I was running some errands and came past a public artwork installed at various locations in Spitalfield Market called "Herd of Hope"
It is a herd of 21 life-sized bronze Elefants created by artists Gillie and Mark and they were inspired by orphaned Elephants in the care of the Sheldrick Trust in East Africa.
you can read more about the trust here:
https://www.sheldrickwildlifetrust.org
The artwork is free to see and a great opportunity for photos and to raise funds and awareness.
Each bronze Elephant has a bronze sign in embedded in the concrete in front of it with a name and a little description of who he represents.
If you are interested in supporting you can adopt an orphan here:

I really think it's a beautiful piece of art!
And it has a wonderful purpose, as well!
Yes, they are so so cute and life-size! I hope they can get lots of funds to keep on helping orphaned animals!
thanks! I will join!
