SBD-To-STEEM Trades are transactions you’ll be doing a lot if you start earning on steemit. To power up, you will need to convert SBD to steem or to transfer to exchanges. Newbies normally just stick with the default values of the trade page to be safe but the default settings might be considered a cheat for some people. I’m going to be teaching you how to set your own bid to sell for the price you want when SBD gets to that rate. This way, when SBD reaches the rate of your bid, it’ll automatically be sold for you even if you’re not online to do the transaction. So let’s get into it.

After you login to your account, tap on your profile picture. From the dropdown menu that appears, tap wallet.

For a first time user, you’ll need to login. You can use your your username and posting key for this login as well.

After you login, go to STEEM DOLLARS and tap market.

For the normal lowest ask method, you would just enter the amount of SBD you want to sell in the SBD section and hit buy steem. However in this case, you’ll be setting your own bid so let’s do a little math here.

If you want to sell 1SBD for say 16Steem, divide 1 by 16(1/16) and input this value in the SBD/STEEM section. In this case I’ll be inputing 0.0625

Input the amount of SBD you want to sell for steem in the SBD section. I’ll be selling 2 SBD for Steem so I input Click on buy.

From the confirm pop, click okay

Login with your active key this time to confirm. Your order has been placed. Wait for when SBD rate is your bid price and your order would’ve been processed.
