Beauty of Nature: Scaly Tangerine Mushroom || 10% to shy-fox
After being told there was a mushroom on the hillside, we managed to go up here. In fact, I needed some time to look for this little mushroom that eventually grew on a rotten log in between the wild grasses. It is known as Scaly Tangerine Mushroom is usually found on a rotten trunk. I believe, this mushroom is inedible (poisonous agaric) that live in dirty area, as far as I noticed no one dare to try to consume.
Anyway, I was not there to bring them home, I just wanted to shoot and made them visible thru the lens. So, as I am not a mushroom expert, and of course I don't have any idea about what these fascinating mushrooms should be properly called.
I was tightly caught up with the beauty of these mushrooms. They shone on the camera as if they urged me to bring them home. It is just there for quite sometimes. I wish I could pick some, but when I saw they had the pale appearance, almost dying which made me think twice to get them as food. So, I shifted closer as I thought I might find some interesting mushroom in there.
I got to say, these mushrooms just brought me back to my childhood where I and my little friends woke up in early morning to search for these mushrooms and brought them home to be cooked. Right, it is an edible mushroom.
