Domestic Duck in Dirty Water
These ducks were playing in dirty water around the field. I noticed them from distance when I was riding up to another spot which instantly urged me to take some distant shots. Known as domestic ducks that usually adopted as they have been bred for meat and also lay many more eggs. Ducks are being put into a group of species of water birds that have small in size and with shorter necks than their close cousins of swans and geese. Along with their longer necked cousins, they make up the biological family of Anatidae. People had a long relationship with members of this family by being economically and culturally important to us. Most duck species are monogamous for a breeding season but they do not often mate for life. Instead, they will seek out new mates each year, choosing the healthiest, strongest, best mate who can help them pass on their genes to a new duckling generation. Since I rarely find a group of duck in one spot, I decided to stay a bit longer to take their photos from distance and surely they were disturbed if I came closer to them.
