Giant Moth : Atlas Moth | 10% Beneficiary to shy-fox

Hello everyone! I am delighted to be back with some pictures of a giant moth that was resting on the tree. It was such a giant insect that I've ever seen. I accidentally caught up with this large winged insect when I was looking for other subjects near the paddy field. This species of moth is regarded as a native of Southeast Asia species. It is called Atlas Moth (Attacus atlas) that becomes rivals to any butterfly with its beauty and grandeur. It appears the Atlas is picked based on Greek mythology. The moth is said to be named after “Atlas,” the Titan condemned by Zeus to hold the sky upon his shoulders. The reference is more about the large size of the moth than the idea that they are bearing some sort of burden. Another interesting fact about this moth is, we don't have to worry about Atlas moths perching near you because they have no mouth and they can't bite. The Atlas Moth belongs to the family Saturniidae, in the order Lepidoptera.

Well! As my first time seeing this typical moth, I managed to take many pictures from the ground. I was trying to get the front part but then I knew, it was really difficult to get. So, I decided to shift to the left, middle, and right to get different angles. Since I was unable to get the face of this moth, I shook the tree by hoping I could see its face but I failed, it took off away to the far tree.
