Painted Lady Butterfly (Vanessa cardui) | 10% Beneficiary to shy-fox
Hello everyone! Glad to be back here again. Today I am going to come up with another piece of nature's beauty, that is a butterfly. Obviously, many of you have seen this butterfly swinging around. I found this butterfly in the grassland near the mountain road. It is called the painted lady butterfly (Vanessa cardui), also known as the thistle butterfly because this butterfly likes the thistle plant to look for food and in some parts of the world, they call cosmopolitan butterfly because of its global distribution. During the daylight, this typical butterfly moves a lot, it flies here and there, quick stop, and fly again.
This behavior would trouble me if I insisted to take the photo with a smartphone, and I used DSLR instead, a primary gear to shoot the busy insects from the distance range. As you all can see this painted lady has a pale orange color on the upper side of their wings. The front wings, which are also known as the forewings, have black tips with white spots which make it one of the fascinating colorful butterflies. The painted lady is widely distributed across continents, commonly inhabits the bush, grassland, and meadow field. It comes from the family Nymphalidae, in the genus Vanessa
Vanessa cardui is the most widespread of all butterfly species. It is commonly called the painted lady,[2][3] or formerly in North America the cosmopolitan.source
