Ingredients:

• Overripe bananas
• Eggs (I used 3)
• Coffee (1tbs + creamer)
• Cocoa (8tbs)
• Sugar
• Salt (pinch)
• Oil/Butter
• Flour
• Baking powder
• Oatmeal

Procedure:

• When everything is clean and ready, mash the bananas in a bowl (the more bananas, the better and I used 8 by the way).

• Add and beat the eggs.

• Pour the coffee, creamer (it adds aroma and taste), cocoa, sugar, salt and oat meal. Mix thoroughly.

• Add next the oil or butter. Mix thoroughly.

• Sift flour with baking powder (I used 1 cup). Add flour little by little so you can take control for your batter and avoid dryness.

• Let it set for few minutes (while waiting, also put your oven on set). It’s a success when it bubbled up -it means your batter will rise when baking.

• After waiting, pour half of the batter to the pan. Place the sliced bananas on top.

• Pour the remaining batter and add another slices of bananas. If you want to add chocolate chips and nuts, go for it -the more filling and toppings, the yummier!

• When done, put it inside the oven for 20-30 minutes.

I actually really don’t know how to bake but after how many trials and errors, I finally know how though not that great. And I’m sorry that some of my ingredients doesn’t have exact measurements because I’m more efficient in my baking when I will just do the eyeballing. ✌🏻 I tried measuring when I was learning before but I only keep the baking right once or twice. But when I don’t use measuring cups and spoons, I do always make it right and perfect. 🥺

For my mom, I want her to give her this cake I made. And I really like to give things that has touch of my hands’ creativity. It just felt so different from buying an instant and it’s a pleasure for me also that I worked hard in every bit of it. 🥰

This might sound too much but that’s it everyone. HAVE A GREAT DAY AHEAD! 🤗
