Manchester City's Striker Hunt || Exclusive Sports Article
Manchester City are a little short on strikers now. Their top scorer and legend Sergio Aguero left the club just last season. And Gabriel Jesus not being up to Pep Guardiola standards. City are pretty much toothless going forward. No matter how much you play false nine, or have goal scoring wingers, without an out and out forward life can be very hard. Manchester City are going through that phase. Majority of last season and also this season they're playing without a good striker.
Mostly because Aguero was injured. Now in this window they've already bought Jack Grealish with a 100 million pounds. Any usual club would stop there or make some small transfers as money is always an issue. But Manchester City have enormous funds. So they are targeting to buy a new forward. With Harry Kane being the first priority.
But City have other options here. One will be the sensational Erling Braut Haaland and the other will be the experienced veteran Robert Lewandowski. Robert Lewandowski has announced that he wants a move away from Bavarians. That he seeks a new challenge. And Bayern have slapped a 80 million euro price tag on him. Which is obviously negotiable.

Lewandowski is 32 years old and still going strong. His fitness is something every footballer should aim for. And his prolific goal scoring ability is also a catch. City can really benefit from his Conversion rate as they usually create loads of chances but they end up with way lesser goals than they usually score. So going for an experienced European elite now as a stop gap solution and take the time to scout for a better prospect is quite a possibility, and they might strike gold.
While on the other side of the age limit Erling Haaland is ripping of defenses both physically and mentally. A monster of a physique for a 21 year old. And an outstanding goal hunger has caught a tide too many eyes. City can go for him as they have the funds. And also Erling's father Alfie Haaland was a Manchester City player. So the connection is there. If they can buy him then City are set for the next 10 years.
Kane deal looks bleak. The striker is convinced to stay one more year. But City will try anyway. If they fail to materialize it, they can really make a move for Lewandowski or Haaland.
