Introduce Myself to Beauty of Creativity

This is my introduction and verification post for this community. First of all, wishing you all a fantastic New Year filled with joy, health, success, and love! May 2025 bring endless opportunities, cherished moments, and the strength to achieve all your goals.

Who am I?

My name is Marco, I’m 47 years old, and I work in the field of developing WebGIS solutions using open-source technologies. I have various hobbies, one of which is photography, and it is through sharing my photographic records that I leave my mark on the social network Steemit.

I’ve been on this network since 2018, and after the Hive/Steem split, almost the entire Portuguese community migrated to the other network. You may have guessed that I’m from Portugal. Since 2011, I’ve been living on São Miguel Island, part of the Azores Archipelago. This archipelago has nine islands and is divided into three groups. I can confidently say it’s a top-tier tourist destination, full of stunning and rare landscapes.

Why did I choose this community?

Like others, this community is a shining example of sharing, where freedom and decentralized principles prevail. Moreover, many posts align with my preferences: photographs and stories with breathtaking photographic records. I can say that I am excited about the idea of joining this community, considering that it is a fantastic and dynamic one.

I hope to earn your trust and that you enjoy my photos, always with some editing, where my preferred themes are landscapes, sea, flowers, cities...and others!
