BEAUTY OF CREATIVITY DIARY GAME CONTEST WEEK II: BEAUTIFUL DAY OF YOUR LIFE [ When I Was a Volunteers]
Dear steemian fellow...
BYONIC (Byson Yamaha Owner Indonesian Club) is a community of yamaha byson motorcycle owners that has been in existence since 4 April 2011 in Lhokseumawe city, this community was formed in order to help each other in creating a positive impact in accordance with the vision and mission and can implement it in daily life. Independent, Voluntary, Neutral and Humanitarian are the four main pillars of the founding of this community.
In 2013, earthquake struck Bener Meriah district on July 2, a magnitude 6.1 earthquake devastated thousands of homes, causing 42 deaths and hundreds of people sustained minor injuries, after knowing the news of this disaster BYONIC members invited several other communities in the city of lhokseumawe to conduct fundraising that will be handed over to the victims of natural disasters in the form of food and medicines, communities that join in this fundraising are RAPI Kota Lhokseumawe and YVCI Chapter Kota Lhokseumawe. Fundraising is purely humanitarian aid without any interest of any party is a form of concern among fellow who has become a culture among the people of Aceh, this is one of the community positive activities to alleviate the suffering of the victims.
This action gets the support of the local government, after three days of fundraising and on a joint decision, this is a good time to distribute all aid. the distribution of aid is not submitted through the beneficiary committee, the aid is channeled in an unusual way, submitted without intermediaries, that is by coming directly to the disaster site and delivering this assistance directly to the needy victims.
On July 6, 2013, one unit of Pick up cars, two passenger cars and several Motorcycles departed from Lhokseumawe City at 14.42 o'clock, by late afternoon we arrived at a festive bener. because it was impossible to distribute this aid in the evening, we decided to spend the night on the edge of the Bireun-Takengon causeway in front of the Al-Ikhlas mosque in Mude Benara village, Timang Gajah District, Bener Meriah District, Aceh, Indonesia. we borrowed a simple tent from local communities to rest. the next day we went on a journey to distribute this aid, we headed to a village that was most severely affected by this disaster, we handed all this aid to Kulem Parakanis Village, Timang Gajah District, Bener Meriah Regency, Aceh, Indonesia.
Well Steemian, this is my story as being a member of the Volunteers with my Byonic community in Lhokseumawe City, a helping hand to help victims of natural disasters is a simple act that gives tremendous impact for me and my friends, seeing the smiles of children under the refugee tent giving me great lesson "They're the Great People". And that time was be the beautiful day of my life. thanks for reading.
