Hats off to man who wears multiple hats! And double praise for helping out in-laws with a wink 😜
I think it's great to be connected to nature and agriculture in this way. I feel sorry for people who don't have the time or opportunity for these activities. Just imagine if everyone wanted to live in sterile, posh home. What would happen then? So, even if you're not a farmer, engaging in these activities is a healthy and fulfilling thing to do.

Well, not too long ago, I used to feel sorry for myself too 😜. Living in a flat with no garden. Even a tiny spot to grow garlic shoots felt like a tragedy. But now, I’ve got myself a little kitchen garden that I’m practically itching to show off. And guess what? Your potato stories inspired me to plant my own spuds too. Hihi

I was reading your post about Corner of Dreams 🙂 where I could see part of your yard.

Your potato stories inspired me to plant my own spuds too.

I hope you won't regret it, because growing vegetables is quite a lot of extra trouble 😉. Weed control, pests, disease, and hands and backs that ache from work. However, the end result is a pleasure. 🙂 In any case, it's worth a try so you can decide for yourself if you like it.
