Hi everyone, how are you doing? It's been a while since I am writing another article related to my favourite subject economics. In this twenty-first technology has revolutionized every aspect of our lives. It is kind of impossible to live without those technologies.

One of the most rapid changes is automation and artificial intelligence (AI). It has brought about a significant impact on the global labour market. My country, Bangladesh, which is known for its resilience and industrious workforce. Indeed it's not immune to these advancements.

Today I would like to express my thoughts on exploring the effects of AI on the labour market, changes in technology and the evolving efficiency of the workforce.

Interestingly we have already noticed that automation and AI have swept across industries, streamlining processes, and redefining work dynamics. The tasks that were once performed solely by humans are now being efficiently executed by machines.

In the factories, the robots assemble products with precision and reducing the need for manual labour. Intelligent software systems analyze vast amounts of data in offices at the same time enabling faster decision-making which is kind of impossible for a human to cope with the AI.

As if technology continues to advance, we should understand the consequences it might bring to the labour market in future.

One of the concerns arising from automation and AI is the potential replacement of workers. Especially the workers who have no familiarity with automation and Ai. As machines become more capable, some traditionally performed by humans may become obsolete.

For example, there is a high chance of manual labour-intensive tasks may be replaced by robots. In developed country Japan the waiters of the restaurant are robots with high-efficiency accurate work power.

So we can say it might cause the leading to a decline in employment opportunities for certain sectors. This also can bring anxiety among workers and their families, as job security becomes uncertain.

Instead of looking for negative consequences, we should look at the positive impacts first. It is essential to note that technological advancements can create new avenues for employment. When specific jobs become automated there new roles emerge that require a different set of skills.

To stay up-to-date and relevant in the changing labour market, workers need to adapt to technology and reskill their current skills. This is an opportunity for lifelong learning and professional development.

Governments, educational institutions, and businesses play a vital role in providing training programs and resources to empower individuals to embrace the new demands of the digital age. Here the worker should respond and improve their individual skills too.

Automation and AI are reshaping the global labour market, and my country Bangladesh is no exception. While there are concerns about potential job displacement, it is vital to recognize the opportunities that arise alongside these advancements.

So in my opinion instead of taking it as a headache, we should embrace changes, invest in reskilling, and promote innovations, We can harness the power of technology to drive economic growth along with improving the standard of living of our citizens. It is a journey of transformation, where humans and machines collaborate to create a more prosperous future.
