How to vote the Steem Witness?
Hi everyone!
Today here I would like to share the process of voting for the Steem Witness. But before that, we should know what is Steem Witness? The Steem Witness are the persons who run the steem nodes and own the steem databases.
They are the most trusted persons in the Steemit community. And voting means giving them the approval to create blocks. When we create any post or comments the data are stored in the block.
Anyway, now let me know the process of voting the Witness. There are three common ways to vote for them:
- Witness vote using Steemitwallet
- Witness vote using SteemWorld
- Using individual witness link via SteemLogin
Vote using Steemitwallet.
Just click the link https://steemitwallet.com/~witnesses
It will take you to the steemwallet witness page where you will be able to the list of top 100 Steem Witness. Like the screenshot below.
Look for the account that you want to vote for. Click the upvote button and confirm the action with the master password. It's done.
Vote using SteemWorld
SteemWorld is the most used tool for Steemit created by @steemchiller. Go to the steemworld and look for "Account details" then go to the "Witness Votes" and finally click on "Vote for Witness" after that put your witness name and confirm using the private active key.
Individual witness link via SteemLogin
This is the individual witness link for witness vote via steem login. There are individuals link you can find. Here this the link of @steem.history the community witness of Global Steem. Clicking on the link will take you to the SteemLogin page like the below screenshot. After that confirm using your username and private key.
The community support comes from the direct 15K steem power delegation of @steem.history. As he is the only one supporting our community that's why we should also support him by witness vote. For this reason, I would like to ask every one of our community to give the witness vote to him.
