RE: What's the Difference?

For me Proof of Brain is only a proof that the brain behind the upvote found value in the post. It does not make it an intrinsic value that all would share. Communities will likely focus a more intrinsic value to different genrè of content; of that we are in agreement.

If a comment brought a smile to ones lips then, hell yah that gets 3 cents... not undifferent than the smiley FB like. Maybe no one else gets the joke. Maybe no one else understands the language it's written in. There was a day when distribution was the crypto buzzword. Proponents of distribution would think kindly of our little click faucets. Isn't it great to see dApp activity starting to outpace this blogging stuff? It's all soo judgemental. 😎

There was a day when distribution was the crypto buzzword.

So big that we ignore the literal elephant in the room with massive stakes.

It's cool to see Dapp activity is on the rise. But, for some reason, they seem to like to pretend they are blogs.

They have to pay the bills too...

On a serious note, the whole hype around here is about the apps, but the social layer that steem is built upon will never cease to exist and can't be ignored as 'just another app'

Bills?

I'm willing to bet most of them are about taking advantage of an easily exploitable system. May their bread be cursed.
