[Our Last Year Steemit Meetup]

I send in a warm greetings to everyone here, I'm impressed each time I'm to brighten my day with an amazing topic like this.

What are meetups relative to steemit and have you ever attended a steemit group meetup?

  • Meetups are Indeed special events where so many people come together to share common ideas, experiences, and do connect over a common interests. So In the context of Steemit, our own most adored platform where we the writers and creators can earn pretty good rewards for our contributions, The meetups play a more crucial role to our success.

This act allows us the Steemians to network, collaborate, and always learn from one another. I'm not talking this out of Guess work but from experience, I have attended few of our Steemit group meetup before, and I vividly remember that one from last December during Christmas eve. It was really an amazing and interesting experience to us all who were present that opened my eyes to the Grand potential of our community.

What Are Your Views About the Upcoming National Meetup in Nigeria? Is It Necessary?

I strongly believe with no hesitation that the upcoming national meetup is a top notch, world class and the best ever in Nigeria which is very much necessary for all Steemians in the country. it'll serves as a premium opportunity to unite the community, foster in relationships, and share knowledge together with esteem leaders, dignitaries and colleagues and not just online alone.

  • In our today's digital age which is transforming rapidly, it's then easy to feel isolated while working online. Therefore this meetup is one which will bring us together, allowing us to exchange our ideas one on one and support each other. It’s also a chance to celebrate our achievements and as well motivate one another to reach a greater heights. The energy in accordance with the enthusiasm at such gatherings will be incredibly inspiring, and I really believe it will strengthen our community positively.

A celebration of your own community. A community that also have "outsiders" joining, liften, upvoting, growing your guys. If I read this I feel shut out and even if I would live in Nigeria I wouldn't take part.
I would also consider if I was still willing to support those who prefer to shut me out and only think about their own circle. Weird or understandable?
I can't stand people discriminating and that's what it feels to me. It was the reason why I no longer posted in this community and after reading this I am glad I did not accept @patudoh her invitation.

I wish you a great meeting.

So sorry about that, I don't know what and who may have hurt you in this my community. I really feel sorry and apologize on behalf of that person. We are bound to make mistakes as humans and most times we are misunderstood. Apologies Madam.

Thank you for your great wishes. Please continue posting in our community we are not bad people.

Have a great day my friend.

I think she's talking about the nature of this contest, the contest is focusing on only Nigerian steemians whereby there are other steemians from different countries that are part of this community and this isn't 100% right.

Am sure you understand what am saying, have a nice day, I won't be opportuned to come on Saturday due to some natural circumstances, someday I believe I will be opportuned to come to Uyo.

The contest hint has questions for non nigerians. So go and read the contest hint again @saintkelvin17.

Hmm alright 👍

Thanks for mentioning me bro, meetups are always fun, for now we don't do it in Portharcourt because we aren't much yet. I will try my best to organize a meetup in 2026 after I must have recruited most of my course mates and friends in University of Portharcourt, Nigeria.

Sahmie, rossnenye and others are also steemians I will love to meet in person someday, ninapenda is also in Portharcourt but she travels out of the state alot. I wish you good luck in this contest.
