Dear Diary,
It was the first day of July, a day to start planning the month and how it would go. I was very much intentional about my morning as I thought of going to the fitness center to build my physique as it's been weeks due to school activities which hindered me from going there everyday. All thanks to my coach for bringing up programmes that were just fitting for the day and the sun was really giving its shine. Let me give the narrative.

On my Way to the Fitness Centre

On my way to the fitness center, I put on my short and t-shirt and then left the streets jogging with my earpiece on. I was listening to the song, into the Unknown as an inspiration while jogging. I kind of liked the weather as it was most friendly. I got to the fitness center in no time and I got to jog round the big field for coming late. After jogging round the field, I took to doing the first programme which was strictly Tyre Lifts, Heavyweight lifting.

Tyre Lift

This tyre lift was a new programme to me as I've not seen before. I came to know about it that day and what was entailed there was to lift the tyre, take the tyre above your head to the last height your hand can go and then throw the tyre to the ground with force that's incomprehensible. This was to be done 20 turns, 3 times without rest. The pain was to be felt round the arms and biceps.

I did this programme till I was fully exhausted though I completed it. It was difficult to lift the tyre up and down. The pain was really felt but no pain, no Gain. These are the team members that did the exercise with me.

Russian Twist with Tyre

This Russian twist with tyre was the second programme and another difficult one. It involved sitting on a step board or probably on a height and then lift your two legs up, lean to the back and then use the tyre and whirl both sides. It wouldn't have been so tedious that much but because of the lift on our legs, we felt the pain lifting the tyre to both sides.

We were to do this 20 turns, 3 times. I completed this programme though I had some pauses when undergoing the programme. I finally hit the hammer on the nail and moved to another programme. I was the proposed photographer that day as @alli001 didn't show up. The turn up wasn't that encouraging since it was a Monday and the first day of the month.

Full Body Stretch

This was actually the simplest form of exercise I did that day. It wasn't that stressful and painful as the first two programmes. This was done by placing your two hands on a step board and then stretch to the back with your two toes tied together. All you have to do is take your left leg to the left side of the step board forward and backward and then do same for the right leg.

The pain was to be felt on the abdomen, legs, triceps and biceps since it was a full body stretch. The new members of the club found it challenging to complete since it was their first time doing this particular programme. The programme was to be done 20 turns, 3 times. After this exciting programme, I took to doing mountain climbing and some others.

Miscellaneous programmes

This is a combination of some minor and major stretches involving the legs, hands and abdomen. Coach did a lot of work ensuring other people got it right. Songs were played to rhyme with the programmes done and in no time, we were done for the day. The first day of the month was actually a month to do playback of things no done the other month, mistakes reflection and the likes of them.

Back from the Fitness Center

When I got back home, I took to doing some minor and major things and also prepared to attend a meeting that was to hold late in the hours of evening. The meeting was rather spiritual and I learnt a lot of things that would be beneficial to my lifestyle, adding relevance to it. I also learnt a lot from the holy scriptures and why it's necessary to persevere trying situations that may tend to be very demanding and draining with hope.

When I got back from the meeting, I took to promoting steemit on my WhatsApp social media handle. I posted a captivating message on starting your day with the best financial, educational and
emotional decisions. Spurred by this, two ladies messaged me and told me of their intentions in joining steemit.

That was when I drilled them and one out of the two signed up with username, @virtuegabi while the other had problem with her phone number and promised to sort it out today with the suggestions I gave her.

Whatever you do on a daily basis tells how your week or month will be. Be intentional about everything you do in life and avoid procrastination as it's the killer of time. Before making important decisions, seek practical help from others so as to avoid the mistake of a lifetime and in summary, help others when you have the opportunity to.

This is how my day ended
