CONTEST ALERT: **My Neighborhood Watch #55 - Reporting Events Around us**
Hello friends, welcome to my blog. I'm glad to have you here and get you updated on the happenings in my neighbourhood.
My neighbourhood is lively and busy as usual again, if you remember the last time I updated you guys on the construction going on in my neighbourhood which has affected business greatly, slowing down sales as a result of people not plying that route making some of them park up temporarily, mobility of cars stopped and how people suffered as a result of the road construction making people trek a long distance to the junction where they can get a commercial vehicle.
Private car owners parked their cars far from their houses because they can't drive in due to road blockage.
I'm here to let you know that the road construction has been completed to a reasonable extent. Business owners have returned to business, blocked roads open and cars now ply the the roads, and people no longer suffer to move to their destinations at ease.

But one concern I have about this new road is that there are no road bumps to wage the speed on the road. since this road is in a residential area filled with children and has more school children also ply that route there should be speed wage for safety. Even as an adult, I get scared by the rate at cars speed on the road at peak periods i.e. morning and evening.
Hopefully, road bumps will still be built since they are not done with the road. All we have to do is to be very careful while we use the road for now.
Road is now motorable
I also went to a nearby market where snails are sold and I was so impressed with the sizes and quantity of snails I got at a good price.
I think foodstuffs not just snails are sold at cheaper or reasonable rates when you visit a market where it is in large supply.
Snail is one meat every member of my family loves I buy them whenever I prepare soup, especially okro soup. It tastes so nice and is also nutritious.
Most times when I buy them(Snails) I bring them back home unshelled and remove the shells myself because it gives my kids so much joy and excitement to watch the snails crawl out of their shells.
This is the recent happenings in my neighbourhood.

Its good to hear about the completion of the road in your area, the speed in which cars move these days is becoming something else and it's becoming very dangerous. I pray for safety and security in your neighborhood and all the best
