Introduction to Gradient and Application
Hello friends and welcome to my article in the great SLC S21/WK1 in this great challenge I would be putting efforts to share and participate with us here. I would be diving into the action immediately.
Gradient is the application of two shades or more of color. It is a technique used to add, blend and create visual interest to beautify art work, bringing blissful colors to sight.
Linear Gradient: This gradient transitions between two or more colors adjacent each other on a vertical line, commonly used for background, simple and text effects.
Radial Gradient: Thia gradient transitions between colors from a central perspective, projected through varying circumference framing a circular pattern used to create special effects on spotlight.
Angular Gradient: This gradient transitions between colors along a specially designed angle, versatile and can be used to create unique and special effects.
Diamond Gradient: A special gradient that gives off diamond shape with pointed edges to complement it's beauty.
Noise Gradient: This gradient includes noise or textures creating an organic or more natural look, it is specially designed with shouty or bright colors to attract interest and concern visually.
Spherical Gradient: This gradient follows contour of a sphere or other circular shapes in a specific background.
- The first gradients should be made with just one color having different complementary shades. Ensure you reveal their hex codes
Opening the canva app, I love the Instagram template I have not incorporated the gradient icon in my workspace, so I search it from apps. I choose the gradient as mentioned, it's visibly seen the linear, radial and angular gradients. I select linear for more visual application.
Importantly, I make sure I choose my hex codes properly forming a blissful blend, then I finally add it to design, this produces my gradient needed. After this process my result is shown.
This below is indeed the final design as shown clearly.
- The second gradient should be made with two different colors (hex codes) that blends so well. See your color theory lesson on how to combine colors.
I apply caution to this one, using same procedure, but distinctively we use two colors, choosing the perfect blend of gradient. This process brings a beauty
And the final design received was also so beautiful too for all to see.
- The third gradient should be made using three colors (hex codes) the blend perfectly
I add a third color to the perfect blend choosing its hex codes, adjust the three colors to form a blissful blended gradient, this I click add to page.
Blissfully it gave me a beautiful design and an indeed wholesome work of art.

We immediately enter canva using the gradient section. We visit the app section and search for type gradient it provides us with template which we can use to edit and add colors to our design. We also choose perfect fonts for the desired taste. Here we choose perfect blend and add to design. I used special colors to grace your design.
This eventually brought our a blissful design for us too. I really liked the blend. I actually used the ANTON font. The hex codes for the first design was #5a27ab and for the multi colors was #07cb4a #7426ef #3372e3
single color
multiple colors
Immediately, chose my perfect blend of colors, the gradient and added to my specific text too, chose a specific background which signifies gradient too, made my design blissful too. I added elements too and wrote special texts too. It indeed gave off a perfect and unique design.
After much designs on my flyer this was the final result for all to see.
