My Biggest Expectation on Steemit is Met

Hello friends, welcome to my blog. It is my pleasure to share with you how my biggest expectation on this platform has been met. I hope you're not trying to guess? Well, you're free to do your guess work. Nevertheless, I implore you to stay put while I narrate everything.

I joined the steemit platform in September 2023, that's last year. From the moment I made my introductory post till date, I have been very active on this platform. There's no single week I don't publish at least one post and make credible and valuable comments on people's posts.

In fact, after I read that consistency is one of the things that makes others succeed on this platform, I made up my mind to publish a post every day, no matter how busy I am. I was so serious and dedicated that I never missed a day, but I fell sick along the line. And so I needed a break, so I decided to have a rest. Though I don't publish every day, I try to publish at least 4–5 posts a week.

Where I'm I driving at? I am at the fact that people on this platform within the first 3 months of their stay on this platform, they would've got an upvote from our "ogbonge" @steemcurator01 and 02. Before a year, they would not be able to count the number of votes from SC01 and SC02.

And so, fortunately or unfortunately, I have never had a vote from these teams. When I say I was bothered, it's an understatement. I asked myself many questions as to know what I'd done wrong to the fact that in one of our contests on this community steem4nigeria. I answered one of the contest's hints that if I should see SC01 & 02, I'd love to ask them why I have not got a single piece of support from them.

I remember during the national meetup, I was sharing my experience with @sahmie, telling him how I'd never been supported by them. He assured me that I shouldn't worry that I would receive a vote from our biggest supporters on steemit SC01 and SC02. While with @okere-blessing at the meetup, she said I was going to be voted by 01, that she saw the post and that I would be rewarded because it was very detailed. I said ok.

The following week after the meetup, I was announced as one of the winnersin one of the engagement challenges, which meant that I'd be voted by SC01. My joy knew no bounds. As I was keenly watching, the week almost passed, my post had paid out, but I never received the reward. I was worried that I had to remind the organiser of the challenge. He assured me that even when that particular post pays out, that any of my posts will be voted by SC01. I thanked him and kept on writing.

The shock happened while I was trying to verify some posts yesterday Sunday on this community. I saw a notification and I decided to check. Lo and behold, the long-awaited expectation was granted. It was a contest organised by @sahmie in Steem Fashion and Style community. I got a vote from our ogbonge Steem Curator01, while I was in the church in a carol service. I wanted to shout, but I was afraid of the distraction that would cause. I immediately took a screenshot of the notification and was thinking of how I'd dance and shout when I got home.

You know what, I promised to share my story here and perhaps shout when I am finally being voted by @steemcurator. This is me telling anyone who is worried like like I did before I got the vote, keep writing, don't give up. Yours is coming soon.
