CHRISTMAS CELEBRATION
Hello guys, it's another amazing day to explore Christmas, a celebration done yearly........ it's basically a period where Christians reference and in respect celebrate the birth of their saviour... It's very religious though but aside from the religious aspect there's an aspect in which I admire, where everyone relate together as one, in this period u can visit whenever u want and however u want and can still be reassured that u would be welcomed warmly with varieties of food with chunks of meat and drinks too....
They believe that this season is meant to be celebrated just how a dedication feast is set up for a newly born....
In my quest to explore more, I got entertained with some mouthwatering delicacies ranging from continental dishes to locally made dishes, it was really trilling to be fed to stupor......
Walk with me guys as we journey across the varies of dishes
Firstly we've got the inter-continental dish popularly know and "Fried Rice" it's an amazing delicacy where rice is cooked together with some colours mostly green to make it savoring and appealing to the eyes and chunks of fried meat are added to this side plus some salads made with varies fruits and cabbage..
Secondly we've got the Melon soup, a locally made food popularly known as the "Egusi Soup" most people must have heard about it because of it's wild spread across the globe, it's really an eye saw, it's made basically with melon, pumpkin leaf , chunks of meat and several soup items....
And lastly is another locally made dish,it's really popular among the natives of Akwa ibom as "White Soup" the dish goes far back to their history... It's made with varies ingredients and no Oil is added so as to get it's original state as it's name imply white soup..
