Hello my wonderful friends I hope everything is okay with you it's my delight to join the end-of-season 5 engagement contest it's been an amazing seasoned, so today I will share my understanding of the topic "a friend in need is a friend indeed".

INTRODUCTION:

One of the greatest gifts and blessings that everyone is fortunate enough to have in life is friendship, in the journey of life we come across a lot of people, but only a few leave a mark on us, my best friend is one such person who has been able to make a positive impact on me. Before I speak about her let me tell you how I understand the idiomatic expression a friend in need is a friend indeed.

I understand this expression to mean a friend who is there for you in your thick and thin a friend who is ready to help you when you are in dire need is a true friend. Someone who helps you when you are in trouble, unlike others who disappear into thin air when trouble arises. So anyone who comes to your aid in difficult times is a true friend, yes a friend indeed.

Let me share a story with you that I Once read on social media, it was about a man who slaughter a cow prepare broths and different delicacies he then asked his younger brothers to go and called all his friends, neighbors, and loved ones to come and rejoice and enjoy with him. But his Brothers took into the street and shouted please help us put out the fire in our house after a few moments few people come out to help while the rest acted like they didn't hear their cry for help, those who came Merry with them.

The man was stunned and ask his brothers the people who came I don't know them where are our neighbours loved ones, family, and colleagues his brother's answered those who came out of their homes came to help us put out the fire in our homes and not for a party this is the ones who deserved our generosity and hospitality. The man learned who his true friends are.

MY FRIEND INDEED:

We've been part of each other lives for some time now (6years) and forever ♾️ to count! Our friendship is still growing and I'm fortunate to have her as my best friend in life.

Our friendship began when she organized an amazing children's presentation for me at my wedding party, I didn't know her before then but she knew my husband. She chatted with me and asked if I knew @ubongudofot that he's her elder brother, and yeah I knew him because he's my brother's best friend. Well, I was reserved at first, but our bond developed gradually after my wedding, and to my surprise, we're inseparable today, yeah we're best friends forever (BFF)!

We learn from one another and we have similar goals in life and lots more. Eliany is humble and kind, she's a good listener and can do anything for those she cares about, she's trustworthy and I got her back anytime, you see why I said I'm fortunate to have her? She's intelligent and genuine too, this beautiful quality of hers draws me closer to her.

She used to make so many sacrifices for me, for example, when she was still single she used to spend weekends in my house helping me with house chores and taking care of my kids, I can't take that for granted. I learned through her that family does not end with blood because she's no less than my family.
