Steem4Nigeria Accelerator Contest Week 66. My dream business.
I am @hudamalik20 from Pakistan. How are you all ?. I hope you all are well and doing great in your life .Today I am participating in this Steem4Nigeria Accelerator Contest Week 66. My dream business. organized by @steem4nigeria in Steem4Nigeria Community. So let's start.
Are you business-inclined? Tell us about your > type of business.
Yes, I am definitely business-inclined, which means I take business ideas seriously and am always thinking of ways to improve them. My friends and I have planned to start a business selling handcrafted jewelry. We have many creative ideas for this, and we've done extensive research as well.
Our focus will be on offering unique and customized designs that match current trends. In our jewelry line, we plan to include items like lockets, earrings, and bracelets, adding artistic touches to make each piece stand out. By bringing creativity and a personal touch to each item, we believe our designs will appeal to young customers.
We also plan to offer customized jewelry to meet individual preferences. With our vision and dedication, we believe our business will succeed, allowing us to craft beautiful designs that meet customer expectations.
One of my friends has already created a few sample designs, which we’ll build upon to create more. Additionally, we aim to expand our range in the future to reach a larger audience.
Do you think only money can make a successful business, or are there other necessary things that make a business successful?
Yes, money is important for starting and running a business, but it’s not the only thing needed to succeed. Creativity, hard work, and knowing what customers like are also very important.
For example, we plan to get feedback from friends at our college by showing them our jewelry designs and giving out free samples. This will help us understand what people think about our designs and how we can improve them.
We also plan to use social media to share our latest designs, prices, and special offers to keep our audience interested. My friend will manage our social media accounts to make sure we stay connected with customers.
So, while money is needed, a successful business also requires creativity, effort, and giving customers a good experience.
Give us a rough estimate of your dream business, you can convert into steem.
Yes, so our initial investment will cover the costs of materials, making the jewelry, and promoting our products through social media ads. We’ve estimated that we’ll need around 60,000 Pakistani Rupees, which is about 1156 STEEM at the current rate.
With this amount, we will buy the raw materials for our jewelry in bulk from another city to keep costs low. We’ll also need to spend on small items and materials, as well as on online ads to reach more customers. My friend is responsible for handling the social media ads and promotion.
As our business grows, we’ll reinvest the profits back into the business. This will allow us to buy more materials, create new designs, and improve our product quality based on customer feedback.
Would you prefer to run your dream business online or offline?
Yes, we plan to start our jewelry business online because it’s a much more flexible option for us. Setting up a physical store would mean dealing with finding a location, paying rent, and being there every day. But with an online business, we can work comfortably from home, which is a huge advantage.
Nowadays, people love the convenience of shopping online, and social media makes it easy to reach more customers. We can promote our products, post updates, run ads, and get direct feedback, all while building a wider audience.
One of our teachers also introduced us to Shopify and gave us some great advice on how to set up an online store. So, we’re excited to launch on that platform and use it as a solid foundation for our business.
By focusing on social media and online promotions, we’ll be able to create a strong presence and increase demand, even from people who are far away. This setup will allow us to grow steadily, showing our jewelry to customers across the country without needing a physical store.
It is a perfect way for us to start, as we’re passionate about the flexibility and potential of online business.
What makes you believe in your dream business? (What is your inspiration)
Yes, I believe in my dream business because I find inspiration in a story my teacher shared. They told us about a street vendor who started a small chips business with just a cart. Over time, through hard work and not giving up, he turned it into a popular restaurant. That boy's showed me that even a small start can become something big if we keep putting in the effort and think creatively.
This makes me feel that my business, too, can grow if I stay focused, work hard, and make products that people like. I also believe in bringing something unique to connect with my customers. Listening to their feedback and making sure they’re happy with what we offer will help me improve and keep going.
What really gives me confidence is knowing I can do something special with my business, even if it starts small. Working with friends or partners and having support around me makes me feel like this dream can come true.
That's it from today's blog I hope you will like it. With best wishes ❤️. Now I like to invite @tammanna، @mile16 and @jyoti-thelight to participate in this amazing contest.
