Greetings friends of Steemit and Steem4Nigeria

It's always exciting to make post in a community like Steem4Nigeria. Before I start I would like to invite two fellow Steemians @crismenia and @eveetim to participate in the contest.

Last Saturday suddenly without any notice Chief Minister appeared in the protest stage of Junior Doctors to advise them to sit for meeting with open mind. In the evening Junior Doctors in honour to her request agreed for the meeting and send a mail CMO for the meeting. Government was pressurized from various sides. So they immediately agreed and advice them to come her residence. But unfortunately this time also meeting couldn't be held due same reason of previous day's meeting dismissal.

Unfortunately during the tag of war between CM and Junior Doctors regarding some agenda, it came to public that the ex Principal and OC of local Police station was arrested by CBI . This time arrested is in connection with the rape and murder case. Their interrogation is continuing.

Since there was a Supreme court forth hearing on yesterday. West Bengal government was desperate to bring back the Junior Doctors to duty. As Supreme court advised them to report duty by 10th of this month. But Junior Doctors did not listen to Supreme court because they had the insecurity issue of the work place.

On Monday CMO forwarded mail to Junior Doctors for an open minded discussion with the demands of them at her residence.

Junior doctors reached her residence at about 7 PM. Metting held for about an hour but it took long two hours to write the minutes of the meeting which was signed by both the parties.

Here is the press release by Junior Doctors after the GB meeting from the protest spot.

Another video of arrest news and celebration by Junior Doctors.

It was a massive victory that some of demands are agreed and has been done.

Yesterday Supreme court resume hearing RGKar rape and murder case. SC highlighted

• GOVERNMENTS DUTY IS TO PROVIDE SECURITY TO FEMALE DOCTORS AND STAFF

• SECURITY MEASURES WOULD INCLUDE CCTV CAMERAS IN AND AROUND HOSPITALS

• NEED REPORT ON FINANCIAL IRREGULARITIES IN MEDICAL DEPARTMENT

• IT URGED THE MAMATA BANERJEE-LED GOVERNMENT TO REMOVE LIMITS ON WOMEN DOCTORS' DUTY HOURS - THE NOTIFICATION STATED THAT WOMEN SHOULD NOT BE ASSIGNED DUTIES AT THE NIGHT SHIFT

• COURT ALSO QUESTIONED WEST BENGAL'S DECISION TO HIRE CONTRACTUAL STAFF

• SENIOR DOCTORS FURTHER STATED THAT WOMEN DOCTORS WERE FACING THREATS

•THE SC BENCH URGED THE PROTESTING DOCTORS TO JOIN BACK THEIR WORK - HOWEVER, JUNIOR DOCTORS HAVE REMAINED DEFIANT IN THEIR STAND

Supreme court has expressed deep concern about the case and more detail investigation has to be carried out.
