Every week I thought I'll will not report about the rape and murder case of the doctor. But the incident is so heart wrenching that I broke into tears whenever I think back the incident.

Any small clue or turn in the investigation give us hope that some truth of crime will reveal.

The junior doctor's have two agendas. Today they called for a protest march in the city where many general public also joined to support. On the morning of 2nd October they have called for capsizing the morning of Mahalaya. Mahalay is the auspicious day of Durga homecoming on earth to kill the devil. Devi Pakshya (Fortnight of Goddess) is the period of two weeks when Devi Durga is worshipped. On set of the first day, Junior Doctors of RG Kar Hospital decided to install a statue of her (the victim) as a tribute to her.

In the meantime on Monday there was third hearing by CJI when he expressed some of his concerns, directives and observations.

West Bengal's slow progress in improving safety measures for doctors in government hospitals across the state a bench led by Chief Justice of India Dy Chandra chud along with justices JB Parala and Manoj Mishra pointed out that over 50% of the required work as per the Court's earlier orders remain incomplete the court as the state about the steps taken to install CCTV cameras, build toilets create Male and Female Duty rooms and Implement Biometrics.

SENIOR Advocate Rakesh Tribedi representing West Bengal Government explained that logistical delays due to floods had slowed the work with only 22% of the planned 6,178 installations completed. the Apex court expressed concern over the slow progress noting that no areas had exceeded 50% completion assured the court that most of the work would be finished by the 15th of October.

Meanwhile the Supreme Court on Monday reitated its earlier order that no intermediary is allowed to publish the name and photo of the victim in the RG Hospital rape and murder case as the hearing commenced Advocate Brinda Grover told the bench that the parents of the deceased victim are disconsented by repeated Clips in social media disclosing her name and photos.

Junior doctors announced strike. The protesting doctors have decided to go on strike because the government is unable to provide security and the politics of fear has not stopped. A 10-point demand was presented, including the demand for the removal of the health secretary.
