Contest: The Root Of All Evils

Good evening ladies and gentlemen, hope we all had a wonderful day, well I did not because I had to work all day, and stare at my system screen for almost 6 hour's but it's all good, because we work for a better cause. and it's a beginning of a new and wonderful week where opportunity will meet us on our way, and remember to always be the best of you no matter what, and don't forget to have a great week cheer's.

I'm using this opportunity to thank you to this amazing community and the members of the community, for always coming up with amazing contest. and also I won't forget to say thank you to our amazing organizer @sahmie for putting together this amazing contest
thank you.

The root of all evil, The full say which States that The love of money is the root of all evil. and I would want to ask is money truly the root of all evil. well let's dive in and get to know more.

1: Do you think money is really the root of all evil, or do you think it's more about how people use money that can lead to bad things happening?

My answer is definitely a capital NO.
Cause first If you look through the holy book it States that:
1Tim.6.10a - For the love of money is the root of all evil:
So here you clearly see that it is actually the love of money that is actually the root of all evil and not money it's self so which simple implies that if this material is idolized it bringeth forth evil. for instance a Man that hasn't set his eyes on 10 million dollars was fortunate to have handled that huge amount of money would also want to go for more because he is not contender with what he has but loves to get money of it the it beings to breed forth greed, oppression etc.

2: Can you think of any examples where money has actually done some good, like helping people in need or supporting good causes?

Yes definitely a whole lot of examples to be sited
for example, money can make a huge difference in supporting and help others for example giving out to the less previllaged and also help in the distribution of health materials to rural communities where they have no access to quality health care system, and there are organization whom have set them self to help people with fund's to aid a better world, I can also site an example when during the covid-19 pandemic africans where a major beneficiary of the good money can do.

3: How do you personally see money in your own life? Do you think of it as a tool to achieve your goals and create opportunities, or do you have a different way of looking at it?

How do I see money, personal I see money as a tool to help and aid me in achieving my goals and aspiration faster with much effort and work added to it, for instance I'm a creative and I literally need money to buy every single equipment or gadgets I need to do my work efficiently, so money is a tool that would help me achieve my goals.
In achieving your goals you would realize that you can not do it alone, just like the popular saying "No man is an island of it's own" so in essence I would also create opportunity for other's around me and also help the fulfill there dream's.

4: Have you ever seen situations where people doing anything for money caused problems or made things unfair?

Yes, I have seen.
I would use my mummy's community as an example, during the year 1998 oil was found between the boundaries of two neighboring community and the company that found the oil wanted to settle the both community but it got to a point where one of the community wanted the highest share of the money that was supposed to be given to them and it resulted to a war where people had to start leaving both communities and up till today the impact of that war has left both communities almost empty because people had to flee with their families and loved one's.

Thank you for reading and remember to be always true to yourself and be the best version of you always.

I'm inviting @triple-a @gesikeme and @yakspeace
to join in this contest.

@kelvinblaq, your insightful essay really talks nature of money. Your emphasis on the love of money being the root of evil aligns with biblical teachings. The examples of money doing good, aiding communities during the COVID-19 pandemic, and supporting creative endeavors are compelling. The real-life example of disputes over oil money impacting communities underscores the potential negative consequences. Well-articulated reflections!

Thank you sir

You have pointed out that the love of money, not money itself, is the root of evil. Your examples show that money can be a force for good, supporting those in need and contributing to health initiatives. Personally, you see money as a tool to achieve your creative goals and create opportunities for yourself and others. Sharing the impact of money-related disputes in your mom's community adds depth to your insights. Thanks for sharing your thoughtful views!

Thank you ma'am

@kelvinblaq, your introspective analysis of the role of money in our lives is both insightful and thought-provoking. You pointed out that it's the love of money, not money itself, that can lead to negative outcomes, citing scriptural reference to support your argument. Your examples of how money can be used for good, such as supporting the less privileged and aiding in healthcare initiatives, highlight its potential to positively impact society. However, your recounting of the conflicts caused by disputes over money in your mother's community serves as a stark reminder of the darker side of wealth. Thank you for sharing
