The drawing is very simple as I made it easier to draw. First of all I downloaded an image of a goose online on pixabay. Here is the picture:
Now let me show you how I drew it:
First step: sketching the diagram on my jotter. This is the easiest way I normally use in drawing. Sketching will give you the structure of what you're drawing as seen below.
Step 2: Tracing. Trading is very simple as you only have to make in deeper on the lines you sketch. After tracing you can see the the shape of the goose is well formed.
Step 3: Drawing and shading of the bird's body part. This means you're working on the bird's body like drawing the eye and feather, shading some of the feather with a pen.
Step 4: The date and my username. After confirming everyday, I added the date and my username and boom, my drawing is ready.
Now let's compare the 2 picture together.

Is it edible in your locality? |
---|
This bird is exactly as duck as they have some resemblance like staying in and out of water and can always be spotted in groups. They travel or immigrate a lot due to the weather conditions.
Though I haven't seen the birds before, or maybe I might see it, I couldn't recognize it, but I think there's some of them in Nigeria where the goose are been raised for their meat and eggs. So that's to say, it's edible, though not popular as people prefer using chicken.
What are its characteristics and what makes it unique? |
---|
Now let me tell some of the unique things you can find linteresting about goose:
- They are adaptable to different environments.
-They have long life span which is about 20 years.
-They have webbed feet for swimming and to to walk on soft ground.
-They have strong bill for grazing on grasses.
They have water proof feathers as a result of possession of oil gland near their tail.
They communicate through honking and they live in flock.
They can travel a long distance.
Where does the expression "wild goose chase" originate from? |
---|
Ok, let me explain this expression by means of an example. Now, say you wanted to catch that goose, guess what? they would at once fly up in a completely different direction which at the end you could be able to trace it. So, when it comes to the phrase " a wild goose chase," it can be explained as trying to find or achieve something, but it's very difficult because we don't have clear directions just the way you chase some geese and they fly in random directions, you might not know exactly where to look or what to do.
It also means when someone is after something of which he is not sure of , perhaps it doesn't exist, or it's wrong information; anyhow, he wastes all his time and effort because he did not find it at the end.
Do you find any interesting fact about goose, let share it together. Meanwhile I will love to see your drawing skill here, why not joined me in the contest?. To my dear friends; @mile16, @pandora2010 @nsisong2022, @stef1 and @entity01, let me see what you got.
