Weddings are happy occasions and when it happens between two who love themselves from the heart and who make the Almighty part of their marriage, everything will always go well despite challenges.
Marriage comes with various challenges one of which is adapting to the character and behavior of your mate who came from an entirely different background and who was also raised differently.
When it happens between those who come from different culture and ethnic group, then the Mayes will will have to learn and unlearn certain behaviors and cultures.
However, no matter where they are from, applying the principles found in the Holy Scriptures will help them to cope and spend their years together.

| The wedding Took Place 18th September,2021 And I Was There Too |

I and my husband were present during the wedding and we were even part of the Train who danced alongside the couple when it was time to welcome them during the reception. It was a happy moment. When they were yoked together, they were told that no one should do them apart.
However, it takes the two to build their marriage. If they really cherish the vow they took, they will ensure they build the marriage no matter how hard it is. Marriage mates are not perfect but their ability to keep putting up with one another and forgiving one another freely in imitation of our God, Jehovah is what will keep it going.
It is exactly one year and they invited us again for the anniversary. What an honor! We promised to be their and there we were that day, the 18th September, 2022.
It was not easy for us to be there due to what we had at hand then but we made it. I was so happy to see others like @goodybest who made it too with her kids and new born baby, Blessing.

The occasion began at exactly 6pm as my husband anchored the occasion. He invited the Brother who opened the occasion with a prayer. Then we focused our attention t the monitor as the video recording of the wedding was played. We all see ourselves at the occasion, dancing and rejoicing while the marriage was being concluded. The video added lustre to the anniversary celebration.
Next was a play where in the couple was asked to seat at the opposite direction, backing each other while some questions were thrown to them. They are to signal their agreement to the questions by raising the either the make shoe or the female shoe depending on who among them is best with regard to the question
Who is the trouble maker?
Who is the peace maker?
Who is always the first to say I love you?
Who is the first to say I'm sorry?
Who spend more time dressing up?
Who fell in love first?
Who is the better cook?
Who wakes up first in the morning?
Who is a better dancer
Who is likely to apologize
These were the questions. It was fun but they both are doing their best and that is why they still remain together until now.
They were later asked how they came to know each other before marriage and they told us how it all started. @eliany never believed that the marriage was going to worked out but in the end, she made the right choice.

Memories such as this should be cherished for eternity as it is a means of Thanksgiving.. Its a thing of joy and celebrating with loved ones is definitely a plus. Thank you ma for blessing my sight.
Out colar now is that garden egg because that other one is scarce now and not eaten by most guests. Since it was not a traditional marriage, that type of colar was not compulsory. Thanks for your comment dear
It was indeed a wandeful ceremony and I see there was alot of entertainment at this anniversary. I always love such ceremonies because I will definitely have enough to eat and drink, lol 😂😂😂

La ultima a la que asistí fue a la que le preparamos a mis padres, en su blog esta el post con video y luego fui a una de unos hermanos mayores que cumplieron 50 años de casados .
