SUMMARY REPORT: My Neighborhood Watch #72 - Reporting Events Around Us by @rossnenye
At the Outreach Center
So on the 28th of this month being October, I was opportuned to work with VIFADAD, a medical Outreach that gives free Medical treatment to people. So the Outreach started on Monday at Defamco Hotel Ifiayong Usuk in Akwaibom State. The Purpose of the Outreach was to bring free medical treatment to the Villagers that couldn't afford it. The Outreach made me to see another side of life that I haven't seen before.
This Outreach made me to appreciate the little things I have, I might not have luxury things but i could afford three square meals and I have good health. When you think life is really dealing with you, then go to the Hospital and you will be very grateful. I saw sick people that couldn't afford the cheapest medications.
This really brought tears to my eyes because I realized that some deaths would have been averted if proper medical care were giving. The greatest achievement and fulfillment you can get on Earth is saving Human life and I plan on having my own NGO that gives free Medical treatment to the poor in the Future. So during the duration of the Outreach, I worked in the Pharmacy Department and I won't lie it was quite exhausting having to deal with a Crowd.
At the Pharmacy Session
We encountered two different set of patients. The First group were happy and appreciated us after giving them drugs, while the Second set were entitled and felt like we weren't doing enough but that didn't stop us from doing what we were good at. So they offered free eye check ups with eyeglasses, Consultation, tests, Surgery and Free drugs to patients. I was glad to partake in the Outreach Experience. Thanks for reading through my post.
I invite @chommygift, @alysaa and @fatima08 to participate in this contest.

I am really glad to see that you joined the VIFADAD to help the villagers get better medical attention.
If you go to the hospital, you will definitely find people with worst situations that yours, saving a live of one of the great things of life. Patients usually have unpleasant attitudes but as a medical practitioner you are expected to tolerate them, you have do well, best of luck.

MODs Comment/Recommendation:
Exactly the point. What you said made me remember my first experience in the hospital as an adult. My sister, my own condition was far more better than those people there. I saw people struggling to survive and in 5 minutes, they'll die. This made me appreciate my own life and look for ways to build a healthy life.
