My regrets and mistakes so far

How's the weekend going for you? It hasn't been easy for me and I must say that the weekend was very fast again but life goes on. Life wasn't easy this year at all, alot has happened. I myself has laughed and cried this year, most times I keep on imagining how the world would have been if Adam and Eve didn't eat the fruit in the Garden of Eden years ago. @ruthjoe thanks for organizing this contest, hope your weekend was good.

I learnt alot of things this year because of my numerous experience. The following are the goals I achieved this year;

Bought a power bank: I have been having numerous issues with NEPA light in my area and I have always been going to betting centers to charge my phone and I spend hours in the place because my phone must get completely charged before I leave there.

I worked very hard before I could buy it, I was so worried until when I finally bought it this year on the 4th day of January, I always save the dates of special events because I see that day as a special day for me and I bought a basketball jersey for the first time that day. I was able to charge my phone alot though after sometime it wasn't enough for my work because is 10,000mAh but am ok with it.

Dolphin Stage: I finally achieved two dolphins this year and I was so excited about that, the first one was the 15th day of February so I didn't stop there, I kept on working hard in this platform despite the fact that I had so many exams to write this year and I have successfully written all of them.

I achieved the second dolphin in July this year after i finished my second set of exam. I have always tried my best to never give up in anything I do. I faced alot of pressure concerning my family financial status but am happy it didn't bring me down entirely. Am ok with these two dolphins but I need more.

Learnt alot: I learnt so many things this year especially in this platform, I became a curator in September and it really exposed me to alot of things in this platform. I learnt somethings from the people around me and I also learnt alot of lessons, listened to alot of advices from people I believe in.

Yes they were many and am feeling very bad for not doing them, I believe I will achieve them next year. These are the things anyway;

• I wanted to reach 76 reputation in steemit before this month November but up till now I haven't even reached 75.

• I wanted to recruit alot of people to steemit this year but it was only four people I recruited.

• I wanted to buy basketball in the month of August so that I can be consistent in this sport but I couldn't.

• I wanted to visit an orphanage home in June and help the children there but I couldn't.

• I wanted to make alot of investments because of what I thought I will get from the bull run but it didn't come on time.

My biggest regret so far for this year is not taking Notcoin Airdrop serious, a friend of mine referred me last year December so I think I joined and stopped, I went back to this airdrop in telegram but I felt very discouraged because the person that motivated me to join was no longer there to keep on motivating me as I needed alot of motivation since airdop wasn't common then.

The guy's phone was stolen so he wasn't on Whatsapp that period. Lo and behold I stopped notcoin and was no longer serious with it. Notcoin finally listed on 16th day of May 2024 and before that day I went back to it to see if I can take it serious but it was too late for me and I was so depressed. So many people made millions from notcoin. Assuming I took it serious I would have had alot of money that will prevent me from withdrawing alot of my steem that I would have powered up and get 15k steem power by now.

• Missing Notcoin.

• Became lazy for one month.

• Not saving to my satisfaction.

• Not studying to my satisfaction and others.

Furthermore I learnt that is very important to stick to our goals because if we do, we will get higher chances of achieving them. I also learnt that is very important to take risk, assuming I risk my time in taking Notcoin very serious as I was thinking it won't pay us anything, I would have done it successfully and made alot of money from it.
