Community Update #1- Suitable Articles and Members' Eligibility
Introduction
Some hours ago, we launched our new community through the efforts of hardworking Steemians to have a place for Nigerians on the Steem blockchain. It's a great step to take and we are impressed with the level of how Nigerians embraced this and other citizens of other countries expressed how curious they have been before with no active official community for the Nigerians.
Well, here we are now and it's time for the real job, it's started already and with no delay, we would have to address a few issues. Many are curious about what type of article is accepted here and who is allowed to participate. This article would address the curiosity of our subscribed members and the entire Steem populace.
What Can I Post on Steem4Nigeria?
The list of what our users can post on the community is endless, what do I mean? I mean this is a community for general topics and that makes the list endless. We would take a look at some below.
Type | Description |
---|---|
Diary | Our subscribers can make diary posts on the community, giving a detailed article about the activities they are engaged in throughout the day. |
Food Diary | Members can also post food diaries, explaining what part of the world is the food common to and describing the methodology employed in the process of making it. |
Tutorial | Tutorial articles are accepted here, we'd like to see people that are specialists in a specific field take up the responsibility to teach others. That said, if you have a strong tutorial to teach that takes more than a week, you may have to contact the admin for proper organization. |
Educational Articles | Members can make any other education centered articles to update other members about new development around the world and so on. |
General Topic | We accept all forms of articles provided that it is free from any form of abuse and well addressed towards a particular context. |
Who is Eligible?
We have seen instances when users are confused about their eligibility in a particular community. We would give a list of criteria to be met to be eligible for participation in the community.
- All Nigerians are eligible to make articles in the community, likewise, Non-Nigerians are also welcome, we aim to improve interpersonal relationships not only between Nigerians but also members from other parts of the world.
- Users that are actively participating in club5050, club75, and club100 these ones would be eligible for our support. We implore members to comply to get support from us and even from the outside accounts.
- Original content creators, we have zero tolerance for plagiarism, users should ensure they are the sole creators of their content.
- Articles not less than 300 words.
- We hope to see our members set us some percentages (10%,20%... 100%) of rewards in the quest to build our community account for stronger support. This is very important.
Conclusion
We are glad to have many of our members very curious about this type of update and we have used this to address a few important things to take note of while participating in the community. Thanks for being part of us and we look forward to seeing your great content in the community remember to abide by those rules.

@steemcurator01
Thanks for the guidelines. I can’t wait to start sharing my tutorials here and also to delegate to @steem4nigeria
But before that, I haven’t seen any delegation post in the community so can I go ahead by writing mine as my first post in the community?

@ngoenyi
You can write but add other stories not just about the delegation to make your publication more detailed
Okay then I’ll have to add it to a diary game to reach the required 300 words post. Thank you
