Welcome to another exciting new week. Are you ready for what we have for you?

Every country and state has this exceptional food that's quite different from general. These foods tend to be valued and cherished by them and are mostly used for traditional ceremonies, weddings and the likes.

It may be food of same items but different method of preparation. The Macaroni and Cheese in America is quite different from that of Nigeria. Our country's dishes define us and can be prepared differently to suit our taste.

Are you a foodie or not? You definitely eat every day. In Nigeria, the way fried rice is prepared may not be the way other countries prepare or call theirs. This contest centers on showcasing your country's food, items used in preparing these exceptional dishes, your favourite dishes and the ones you dislike.... We'll love to see various types of predominant food/dishes your country has.

• What's your favorite food found in your country.

• Tell us anything else about food.

Contest Rules

• Write an article on the subject with at least 300 words and post it in this community.
