Most parents today have made their children have the view that they can only make money when they are done schooling, have a degree and a well paying job. This has made most youths see learning an added skill either virtual or physical as waste of time or not profitable.

They spend all their lives chasing formal education to get the degree and dismiss the mindset that they can make money while schooling before they actually get the job. Some may spend years chasing formal education and may later end up jobless, paying someone who hasn't seen the four walls of school to teach him a skill.

This contest is not condemning formal education or completing it and having a degree but is raising a question to know view of the masses if they must complete schooling before they start making money.

We'll be fascinated to read your views on this topic. Let's give it our all.

In Nigeria, formal education is a pathway to financial woes. This clime doesn't take education seriously, if you get too much education, you would end up being financially insecure and miserable as there's no job opportunities for the educated ones.

I urge on this. Luck's arr different in Nigeria
