Contest Alert ⚠️: What I would do better if I can travel back in time.
Time is a cheerful idea because we think of it like using a durable marker on paper—once we write, we can't stop, wipe, or go back, only move forward. Time is also hard to grasp because we can't touch or feel it; we only notice it after it has passed.
What are the things you think you should have done better |
---|
Loving on me; This is one thing I should have done better if I can travel back in time, well unfortunately, I can't. I'd spent my life loving and seeking others first before myself, spending so much time in caring for others and yet what do I get in return, hate, wickedness, evil.
If I had loved myself it would have been something not regretting today. I would spend hours in the kitchen cooking all for love, cleaning and running errands forgetting myself because I want to love my neighbor and show a good example of a true Christian.
I should have used the same energy to look myself in the mirror and tell myself how beautiful I am, appreciate myself and look good for all I care. I should taken myself out on several occasions, gone swimming, body care, and other fun. I should have celebrated myself in a grand style, eaten sustainable dishes, but unfortunately time has traveled.
Listened to elderly advise; This the second thing I would do better. I would listen to good advice that would help me in life. I thought I'd known it all and I refused to listen when my uncle advised that I take fashion as a profession. I was so naive and senseless thinking it was for local people but today see where fashion has gotten to and this is where I am.
He advised me on several occasions to take fashion as a profession, he was willing to pay my bills but I ignored, he told me reasons why fashion is n option. I threw all that away and if only I can travel back in time, I would jump at it.
Studying the word; Here's another thing I would do better. I remember while growing up, my mom would gather us to teach us the word of God but I was never listening. I didn't care about it, even when I see other children performing excellently in Bible quizzes, it didn't bother me. I would have been quoting the word without looking at anywhere. If I had chewed and swallowed it, I should have been a lot better today, but time can't be traveled back to.
How long did it take you to realize you missed that privilege or opportunity to do something better and how did you feel. |

It took me almost forever to realize the things I should have done for myself. I was already an adult before I could unfold those moments. When I say down to look back to yesterday, I realized a whole lot of things I would do better.
I felt ashamed and bad realizing I didn't listen to a valuable advice. It hurts so much because I see where fashion is today and it is also going somewhere. Maybe I would say I wasn't matured enough to realize what was going on, well I am matured now and I regret not grabbing those opportunities.
Give advice to your reader who might be treading at the moment the same path as you |

If you are trading this same path please run away from it to avoid "had I known." Time will never come back to you to say "I am here for a second chance to make it right."
Accept good advices when you hear one. Time is only noticed when it has passed and while you are living in the moment, think before you make decisions. Do the things that makes you happy and be sure you don't regret them in future.
Thank you friends!

You have so many things you would love to do better, that of listening to elderly advise is quite necessary and important. I guess by now you should have been one of the top fashion designers.
