Charcoal portrait study. By Alejandra Her
Charcoal portrait. By Alejandra Her
Some time ago I draw this portrait. Today I want to share it with you.
I used to draw portraits, I have always liked them and in general I outline my illustration towards the human figure, especially faces.
This is the portrait of a friend, who later became part of my family.
I used this rough charcoal sticks a a very quality watercolor cotton paper.
I miss making those kinds of drawings, by hand, live, using quality paper. Lately I have only drawn digital, but this is because due to the lock down issue I have not been able to buy paper. At least I have something, I'm not complaining.
It is satisfying to see that over the years I have continued to do what I love, and that I can currently live on it.
Greetings to all.
See you in the next post.

Very nice, @alejandra.her
Thanks
Beautiful work and well blended. Did you use brown paper for it?
No. It is actually a cotton paper with a light cream tone.
