Boulder Sunday
A few years ago I lived in an area for a short time where Boulders were not a common sighting. It looked and felt so very different to me.
The day to day feeling I had was
there something absent in the landscape around me.
I really missed seeing them. My stay was short term. I was glad to be reunited when I returned home.
Snow capped boulders in the river.
They are most strong and steadfast.
This river has often crested and overflowed the highest point of the river's bank. The boulders are not visible until the water recedes.

Beautiful big boulder nestled in a field on warm Summer day.
Every year there are a few folks including myself gather around this wonderful boulder and enjoy our annual picnic.

Me neither.... Ice never froze all the way over.
