Working and learning something new, a work experience for a day

Some people say. There is no work on Sunday, but I saw an opportunity and took advantage of it

7 days ago I had the experience of working as a parcel delivery man, previously I mentioned that I like to keep myself busy. Well that was my way of entertaining myself last Sunday

It is also a way of learning a new task that can serve me in the future, I always think that there is something to learn every day, because of something I am sure is that life takes many turns

So I like to take advantage of every opportunity life gives me to grow and learn

That day was busy from 8 in the morning. At 8 pm, I had no idea it was going to be so draining. I admire those people who go out to do their work every day

Without a doubt, this experience helped me to appreciate his work much more

For my part, I started the day with breakfast, something well known by Venezuelans, I talk about an empanada with the flavor of our land

Now he was ready to start rolling towards the addresses where he had to withdraw the orders and then take them to their destinations

Here I am outside a restaurant waiting for my turn to request my order which has a specific code

All the orders I delivered that day were food, so I went to many restaurants

In some of them I had to wait a long time for the order that I requested to be delivered and in others it was quite fast

I imagine that some restaurants were more in demand than others

Many commercial stores are working until 8pm. Although there is a declared curfew from 2pm to 5am. These establishments have special permits to work only with home deliveries

And the delivery people can also work until 9pm thanks to a pass issued by the company they work for. That way they can freely move around the city as long as they are working

Throughout the day I delivered about 16 orders, it's a job where time is really valuable and sometimes it doesn't allow you to take a moment even for lunch

That day I had lunch at 4pm because they had a lot of requests which I had to attend to first so as not to make the client wait

I did not take many pictures because I had to save my cell phone battery to be able to use the maps and the different applications for this job

Here I am outside a residential building waiting for the client to come down to deliver their order. This trip was one of the first I did in the morning

It was a big challenge for me because I stepped out of my comfort zone. If you know me, you know I do something else, but I would definitely do it again
