Tecnología que acerca y aleja / Technology that moves closer and further away
La tecnología ha cambiado todo lo que conocíamos, lo ha convertido en algo aparentemente más fácil y rápido, empezando desde la comunicación entre las personas. Pero ¿Qué tan cierto eso de que ha mejorado la comunicación?, a mi parecer es relativo, porque es que ahora podamos hablar a través de una video llamada o mensajes de texto a nivel intercontinental, no quiere necesariamente decir que la comunicación humana ha mejorado, no es del todo cierto.
Technology has changed everything we knew, it has turned it into something apparently easier and faster, starting from communication between people. But how true that it has improved communication, in my opinion is relative, because we can now talk through a video call or text messages intercontinental level, does not necessarily mean that human communication has improved, it is not entirely true.
Voy a explicar mi punto, es una realidad tangible el hecho de la rapidez actual en la comunicación, pero, de igual forma ha producido un distanciamiento social, que incluso puede algunas veces a tocar lo inhumano, y no porque sea malo, sino que como seres sociales que somos, la posibilidad de tener cierta cercanía al hablar, eso de verse a los ojos cuando lo hacemos, se ha perdido por mucho.
I am going to explain my point, it is a tangible reality the fact of the current speed in communication, but, in the same way it has produced a social distancing, which can sometimes even touch the inhuman, and not because it is bad, but as social beings that we are, the possibility of having a certain closeness when talking, that of seeing each other's eyes when we do it, has been lost by far.
En el contexto actual de pandemia, el distanciamiento social ha resultado muy bueno, porque evita o disminuye l propagación del virus, sin embargo, esta falta de contacto humano afecta a muchos, y sobre todo a los niños, que han perdido esa posibilidad de desarrolla habilidades sociales, tan necesarias para que puedan luego incorporarse en etapa adulta con una mejor disposición en la socialización.
In the current pandemic context, social distancing has been very good, because it prevents or decreases the spread of the virus, however, this lack of human contact affects many, especially children, who have lost the possibility of developing social skills, so necessary for them to be able to incorporate into adulthood with a better disposition in socialization.
Por supuesto, no cabe duda de que todo esto puede desarrollarse, y mejorarse en términos de socializar, pero, en este aspecto ha ocurrido un atrasa si lo vemos desde lo humano, aunque en lo tecnológico hayamos avanzado mucho.
Of course, there is no doubt that all this can be developed and improved in terms of socializing, but in this aspect there has been a delay if we look at it from the human point of view, even though we have advanced a lot in technology.
