ART X NATURE IN HAKONE OPEN AIR MUSEUM

Even if you're not a "museum person," you'll love this museum located in Hakone beautiful landscape because it's an outdoor museum!
If we hear the word museum, then what is imagined is a building with works of art in the room and an explanation of art that is sometimes ... boring. Oh well, can't blame that since not everyone is into artworks :)
But, at the Hakone Open-Air Museum, we can enjoy artwork while walking through footpaths, contour hills and shady trees and while enjoying the landscape and mountains in Hakone.
As the name implies, this museum carries the concept of outdoor, so the works of art displayed here blend with the surroundings, starting from the statue in the middle of the Round Plaza park, "bubble playground" Curved Space, a large pendulum in the middle of two tall trees that will make we look up to see it, Woods of Net which is a very artistic children's play area, and many more.
Walking on the Hakone Open Air Museum as a never-ending show, we continue to be fascinated by works of art that are so interesting and united with the location of the artworks and various buildings that also become very interesting architectural works of art such as Symphonic Sculpture in the form of towers with very beautiful circular stairs seen from inside the tower because of the light entering from the stained glass pattern that fills the building.
Also, the star of the Museum is the Picasso Pavilion where there are at least 300 works of Picasso, the Maestro, in the form of paintings, sculptures, ceramics to sketches that Picasso made during his lifetime. Picasso Pavilion is the only display location of works made indoor at the Hakone Open Air Museum. At Picasso Pavilion, we are also not allowed to take pictures, so enjoy all Picasso's works without distractions huh :)
After from the Picasso Pavilion area, we can continue walking and relax in the cafe area with views of the trees which when we arrived were still dominated by brown color. There is also a foot onsen area, to soak feet while enjoying the view.
The Hakone Open Air Museum is really fun, I would suggest to spend the whole day here to enjoy the artwork, the surrounding, the atmosphere and enjoy a day surrounded by extraordinary works by foreign artists. when art collide with nature, it's surely amazing!
