It appears the STEEM wallets have opened back up on Binance

As of a couple hours ago it appears Binance has re-enabled STEEM wallets.

This is the first time they have been up and running since the most recent hardfork.

The spotlight now turns to Bittrex to see when they will re-enable their STEEM wallets.

Or if they will re-enable them at all...

Just about all the other exchanges now opening their STEEM wallets back up should put some pressure on Bittrex to act soon.

Stay informed my friends.

I think Bittrex will eventually re-enable STEEM wallets... Like other exchanges, they wanted to see if the chain forks again, but it won't likely happen, at least not in near future...

There is already another fork on the way called Blurt. The snapshot was taken early last week. Goes live around July 4th.

I know... That fork smells as much Vietnamese as the girl who kept texting me during night when she couldn't fall asleep...

Not everything that looks like a duck is a duck... Anyone can fork a repository, but it doesn't mean the code will be ready when announced...

That Blurt fork has only one known developer and for one developer, it will make quite a long time to make all the modifications promised or required.
