Sometimes, I DO like Mondays
Our son, his wife and their two kids (our 2-year old grandson and 3 month old granddaughter) came to visit for Mother's Day yesterday. My grandson and I filled up the empty bird feeders and suet cake holders. This morning my grandson and I enjoyed breakfast and a show as some beautiful birds stopped by to join us for breakfast.
Meet Mr. and Mrs. Goldfinch. I rarely see goldfinches at our feeders.
Next, a tufted titmouse stop by. Again, a vary rare site.
But he proved to be pretty shy and I was lucky to catch his tail as he flew away.
A hairy woodpecker stopped by for a bite.
Then Mr. Cardinal flew in...
Followed closely by the Missus.
So, with apologies to the Boomtown Rats, I don't always hate Mondays, just mostly.
