A story of a Snail and a Flower...

in GEMS4 years ago (edited)

Yesterday I took a break from social media, this is the first time I haven't posted any single content on different social media. The reason is very simple I took a break. I was not in the mood to write anything, to be honest. I gave myself time, wanted to spend some time with me without thinking about any other topic. The past few months were intense and I didn't take a single day off for myself.

I was in deep emotional thoughts and wanted to feel the connection because somehow I felt I lost it or I am lost in the moment. When you feel emotional, you just want to pause, take a deep breath, and try to build a connection with your mind and brain. Later you try to connect with the environment and the time to be back on track. You might be thinking that maybe it is some kind of block, obstacles, or hangover. I call it "Lost in my own moment"...

While walking around I found this interesting snail that was stuck with this flower. I found it fascinating and took the pictures. I think this snail lives in soil, I don't know but generally, snails can live everywhere. I tried to find more snails but it was alone, stuck with this flower, alone. Maybe it found some kind of connection with this flower so decided to live here. Or maybe it was taking rest because it's land snail...

I tried to observe for a while if it is alive or not, move or not but it was calm, quiet and maybe just taking rest. It chose this flower for its habitat, it felt connected with this flower that's why it decided to live there...

Finally and successfully I was able to capture Bee and flower picture. Bees are so fast and it's hard to focus on them.

I am happy how this picture turned out and later I decided to capture some more pictures of this flower...

Let me share them with you...

I did some edit as well using different filters and also shared the original one so that you can see the difference. I use my old smartphone so I edit most of the pictures, I don't know why but I love editing my photographs a little bit.

Anyway, I don't want to make this post too long, enjoy the pictures.

And about the story of a snail and a flower, maybe one day I will find enough words to write this story and will complete my incomplete story...

I just need to find that connection for myself...

I walk a lonely road
The only one that I have ever known
Don't know where it goes
But it's only me, and I walk alone
I walk this empty street
On the boulevard of broken dreams
Where the city sleeps
And I'm the only one, and I walk alone...
