Americans! Do not inject disinfectants inside!

in GEMS5 years ago (edited)

To be honest, I did not expect that Mikhail Zadornov's words about the people of
America would be so close to the truth, but the reality turns out to be more
whiplash than any grotesque.

The story is this: on Friday, President trump, at a public press briefing on the
pandemic, suggested that if disinfectants kill viruses and microbes on outdoor
surfaces so easily, they can kill them inside the human body as well.

American companies are very experienced and experienced organizations in this regard,
and among marketing students in the United States, there are a lot of stories
about how easy it is to get into a major lawsuit if the company at least forgot
to specify something in the description or instructions of the product.

Perhaps the most telling example of these stories is the case of a microwave oven
manufacturer who lost a lawsuit for tens of millions of dollars to an angry
housewife because he forgot to specify in the instructions for his product that
you can not dry Pets in microwaves. The housewife washed the house cat, and you
have already guessed the consequences.

In this case, the manufacturers of disinfectants raised the cry almost immediately:
"The manufacturer of Dettol and Lysol said on Friday that people should
not inject themselves with a disinfectant to try to kill the coronavirus.

At a press briefing on Thursday evening, President Donald trump pondered whether injecting
a disinfectant can kill the virus, given that the disinfectant can kill the
virus on external surfaces.

"I see a disinfectant where it kills it in a minute," trump said. "One
minute. And is there a way to do something like this, by injecting it inside or
almost cleaning it?"

Reckitt Benckiser, which makes Dettol, Lysol and Harpic, said in a statement that
"under no circumstances should our disinfectant products be introduced
into the human body (via injection, ingestion or any other route).""

In principle, this extensive quote could be finished, but I would like to
speculate a little - in particular, about the education of America's top
officials. And it's not even a matter of what trump blurted out at the briefing
- if manufacturers did not raise a howl immediately after this event, there
would probably be several tens of thousands of people in the United States who
decided to "heal" with a single sting - especially since these
cleaning products are available in almost every American home.

But I like Mr. trump's approach - this way the pandemic can be stopped almost immediately:
if there are no carriers of the virus, then there is no further spread of the
infection. At the same time, I would very much like Mr. President to at least
consult with relevant experts before issuing such heresy to the world, since
there will certainly be people who have only heard the words of the President.

The world has really gone mad, if such nonsense is being spouted from the highest stands
- however, an exceptional nation could sometimes survive something like unstoppable
diarrhea for three days - you might see a little more smart people in this
population.

Fire up, Mr. President! They say that the coronavirus dies from undiluted vinegar and
quicklime! And from chlorine orally just runs in horror!

We believe in you! More bright and convincing speeches!
