I want to make my contribution to a dish I enjoy a lot.
Fish and Chips

North Atlantic cod fillet dip fried in a beer batter, served with fries, coleslaw, and homemade tartar sauce.
Ingredients:
2 quarts of vegetable oil for frying
8 (4 ounces) fillets cod
salt and pepper to taste
1 cup all-purpose flour
2 tablespoons garlic powder
2 teaspoons salt
2 teaspoons ground black pepper
1 (12 fluid ounce) can or bottle beer

Homemade Tartar Sauce
Ingredients:
1 cup mayonnaise
2 teaspoons sweet pickle relish
1 teaspoon prepared yellow mustard
1 teaspoon lemon juice

Homemade coleslaw
Ingredients:
1 cup distilled white vinegar
1 teaspoons sugar
1/2 teaspoon celery salt
1/2 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper, plus more if needed
1 clove garlic, finely grated
1/2 head green cabbage, cored and very thinly sliced
2 large carrots, peeled and shredded on the large holes of a box grater
1/4 cup extra-virgin olive oil
