STEEMFOODS: Authentic Filipino Snack ( BANANA- CUE)

YES! That's right. AUTHENTIC!

I want to introduce you all to one of the BEST Filipino snacks in the Philippines.

Introducing you to the very mouth-watering and palatable snack, the BANANA CUE.
Bananas are basically grown in hot and tropical climates, since the Philippines is a part of a tropical country, so expecting that there are lots of bananas here.

Everywhere in the Philippines, you can see bananas together with their unique ways of cooking.
Banana cue- made by deep-frying saba bananas which are generously coated in a thick layer of caramelized sugar. It's also as considered street food.

Anyway, I'll be sharing with you the ingredients and preparation in cooking banana-cue.

Here are the ingredients:

6 Bananas (saba)

5 cups of Oil (use much oil since it's deep-fried)

Bamboo skewers

Brown Sugar (5 cups)

STEPS:

First:
Peel the banana and put it in a container or empty basin.

Second:
Pour- in the cooking oil into a pot and when it becomes hot, you follow the peeled banana and put it into the pot slowly.

Third:
Gradually add the brown sugar and make sure to adjust the heat to medium-low.

Fourth:
Stir gently the bananas so that they can get coated with the melted brown sugar easily.

Fifth:
After removing from the pot, prepare the skewers and let it cool.
