STEEMFOODS: Boiled Pork Sinigang with Vegetable Mixed// FOOD RECIPE//
Good day fellow steemians! Especially those who are food lovers out there. Hope you're all fine and in good health upon reading my kind of recipe.
This recipe of mine is so perfect in the kind of weather we have now in our place in the Philippines particularly in Cebu. It's raining the whole day because of the typhoon. And I prefer to cook this food because it's good to eat this "Boiled Pork Sinigang with Vegetable Mixed or Nilagang Baboy in this cold weather and it is one of the easiest soup dishes that anyone can cook.
Main Ingredients:
- 1/2 kilo pork belly
- 3 pcs. ladies finger
- 1 pc onion
- 2 pcs long chilli
- 1 stem spring onion
- 1 pc ginger
- 1/4 pechay
- 1 pc Gabi
Seasonings:
- 1 gram msg or umami seasoning
- 1 tbsp. salt
- 4 grams sinigang sampalok mix
FOOD PREPARATION:
1.Wash the pork with flowing water and so with the vegetables.
2.Peel off the gabi then clean with the remaining spices like pechay, long chilli, ladies finger, onion, ginger and spring onion
3.Cut them into the desired sizes. Refer from the pictures below:
COOKING PROCEDURE:
1.Prepare the casserole
2.Put first one tablespoon of salt
3.Add the pork then the gabi and ginger and then cover the casserole and bring it to boil.
4.Allow it to boil by itself for about 5minutes to extract the flavor from the ingredients being added and to be less oily.
5.Add 1 liter of water and allow it to cook for about 1 hour until the meat becomes tender or smooth.
6.Add the ladies finger, onion and long chilli
7.Add umami seasoning or msg then stir it.
8.Add sinigang sa sampalok mix and try to taste it. The purpose of this sinigang sa sampalok mix is to add sourness to the soup.
9.Lastly, add the spring onion and pechay then boil for 2 minutes.
10.Remove from the casserole and it's now ready to serve and eat.
HAPPY EATING EVERYONE!
