Steemit team that I respect,

On this occasion my best friend and I woke up to register for the Steemit Learning Challenge for Season 22. We both have thought of registering with a different theme, namely handicrafts from coconut leaves or the like. Here is our profile and history of experience on Steemit:

My name is Mudawali and I often name my social media account @walictd, I come from Indonesia. I joined Steemit since 2018, at that time I didn't understand anything about steemit and only got to know from seniors who were close to me in 2021, even now I often meet with SR.

Here's my experience surviving on Steemit:

  • Moderator of the STEEM KINDS & PARENT community
  • Admin of the STEEM LENS community
  • Moderator of the STEEM SEA Community, and
  • Steemcurator09 Curator Team in November 2024..

The experience of the theme that I will bring if it passes later is making handicrafts from coconut leaves or something like that. Here I want to tell you that I have a talent in weaving, maybe many also ask me to teach it. I learned weaving from my grandmother, grandfather, older sister and mother. Then through technology, I also often learn self-taught on YouTube so that I can develop talents in the handicraft section.

I was introduced to the Steemit platform in April 2022, and I started to deepen it after a few months and got support from the Steemit team which made me more enthusiastic and consistently active here. As time goes by I realized that this platform is very good to develop and become the top priority on my phone that can share all creativity.

Here's my experience surviving on Steemit:

  • Admin/Moderator of the STEEM LENS community, and
  • Steemcurator04 Curator Team in November 2024.

While my experience about the theme that we will bring this time is that I will help as much as possible my best friend in the craft discussed that is making handicrafts from leaves such as handicrafts from coconut leaves or seumpanya. I often follow him in making such handicrafts such as making hats, baskets to the base of the clothesline from coconut leaves. Hopefully, the experience I gained can support him to become an assistant to this teaching team.

It is from this basis that I will raise the theme. Because coconut leaves are one of the materials that we often encounter in the world, but if there are no coconut leaves can be used palm leaves or the like, we know that from this simple leaf can create a lot of crafts that can be made, for example grasshopper decorations from coconut leaves, mini baskets, even to traditional hats, with this seumpa craft will certainly hone creativity, but not only that but also useful for preserving local wisdom.

Handicrafts like this are not only limited to ornamental art, apart from environmentally friendly materials but also easy to obtain, so it is a suitable choice for educational activities and hobbies. We are here to teach the techniques of making handicrafts from coconut leaves or the like even from the basics of making to advanced creations. In the spirit of sharing knowledge, we plan to introduce creative ways to transform coconut leaves into valuable works of art, whether for display, gifts, or small useful tools.

We will also provide some videos that support this kind of handicraft. Here are the videos:

Whoa! It’s amazing and make me nostalgic. I love your videography too. I just love craft of leaves. When I was a kid I used to make glass, watch, ring, flower, cups using cocount and jackfruit leaves. Want to learn more creative craft of leaves. I hope you will be selected, inshallah.

Amen, thank you very much, friend. I'm glad you came along and gave your support.

The designs you have woven using coconut leaves are so unique. They are truly beautiful. I also see the advantage of this that anyone can make such designs without any additional cost. I think a course like this is needed for season 22. All the best dear ❤❤
