[ECble] True Anonymous WEB3 Blogging on Steem - Claim Reward Dialog
Hi, I am the developer of the anonymous web3 blogging app on Steem.
I have implemented the basic features and screens for the app.
The most important part of this app is the claiming author reward.
Post Details Screen with a Reward Claim
There are three buttons in the screen, the last button of which is the claim reward button.
This button will be activated when the payout is done, that is 7-day-old.
The amount shown in the button is the author reward in Steem.
Reward Claim Dialog
When clicking the button, the following reward claim dialog appears.
Here, you need to input the private posting key if you are the author of the article.
The logic is as follows:
- Get the public posting key from the given private posting key
- Hash the public key
- Compare the hash to the one in the post
The crucial part is that the app does not store any private key to handle this logic.
The app stores only the hashed public key. As you know, the 'public' posting key is open to the public.
With this logic, the author only is able to claim the reward.
