Steem for SDGs Stand With Turkey
This post is an update on the donation-raising activity we did for earthquake victims in Turkey. A week ago we released an announcement about this fundraiser. This fundraising was initiated through the Steem for SDGs program, a program that focuses on sustainable development supported by the Steemit community.

Steem for SDGs focuses on environmental, social, educational and charitable issues that bridge the Steemit community to promote Steemit to the public. Steem For SDGs is a program for Steemit that collaborates with the Siap Membangun community in realizing real activities or events. Steem For SDGs is part of the Steemit promotion program that wants to reach more networks.
Steem for SDGs is based in Aceh and wants to develop a team of representatives from various countries. So far, our activities are volunteer teams through funds from STEEM / SBD which are solely obtained from the platform. We bring back the value that has been obtained for campaigning for Steemit, meaning that this activity is fully supported by STEEM/SBD from the platform for the support of the Steemit community.
After several months many activities were delayed, given the STEEM market condition which is not so good to issue STEEM/SBD to Exchange and cash it in IDR. However, this time we are taking on the role of participating in donation support for Turkey, even though the value we will get is not that much. In raising funds that will end on March 1, 2023, we are targeting the amount of funds needed to be IDR 2 million.
Donation updates
Donations collected will be sent through trusted and legal institutions. We trust donations to be transferred to the Solusipeduli.org platform, a fundraising platform initiated by the official Human Initiative institution. We have registered as a fundraiser under the ID Steem For SDGs (carrying the name and label of the Steemit community).
